At Bromley & Gaines we have built our business firmly on trust.
If you have an urge to relocate from elsewhere; the historic Buckinghamshire village of Waddesdon has plenty to offer. Waddesdon is located within the Aylesbury Vale, 6 miles from the county town of Aylesbury. and within a short drive of Buckingham and the thriving new town of Milton Keynes. The village is famous for Waddesdon Manor, a former family seat of the Rothschild family, that is now managed by the National Trust. Waddesdon village is located on the A41 which provides good road links between London and the Midlands. Although there are few new housing developments within Waddesdon village, there are plenty of new developments surrounding the nearby towns of Aylesbury and Buckingham. Many of the villages of the region retain their original historic charm. These include Grendon Underwood, Quainton, Wotton Underwood, Pitchcott and Whitchurch.
Existent residents of Waddesdon will already be aware of its many attractions, so moving home to a different location is probably unlikely. However, as situations change, you may start finding certain aspects of your current home to be limited, creating a need for extra space. Rather than move home, it is often more advantageous to avoid the hassles this entails by considering different ways of improving your existing property. This can usually be achieved quite easily by employing a good builder that can assist you from the planning stage through to completion. You might be consider creating an extra room by extending your property; converting your garage; or by adding a loft extension. If you need to make better use of the space you have available, you could think of having two smaller rooms turned into one (known as ‘knock-through’). This is a specialist job that can be carried out by Bromley & Gaines and includes introducing steel re-enforcement (RSJ) and brick piers as well as plastering and adding all electrics.
Whether your property is old or new, it will usually be suitable for a variety of improvements. Aloft or garage conversion; a purpose-built extension; or customised internal restyling such as a bathroom refit, will all help to add value to your investment. If you work from home, either now, or are thinking of doing so in the future; you might also consider having an office built in the garden. These can be built of timber or brick and be fully functional with electrics, water supply and heating.
